Why Forksy exists
Forksy started as a stupid problem we kept having: two people, two phones, an hour wasted on “I don’t know, you pick.” We wanted a tiny, gamified app that gets a couple from “should we eat?” to “we’re going there” in three minutes flat.
The first version was a weekend hack. It worked surprisingly well. So we kept building. Today Forksy covers Lithuania end-to-end and is rolling out across the United States.
What we believe
- Decisions should feel like a game. Swiping is faster than browsing.
- Data belongs to the user. Your swipes are yours; your location is yours.
- Free is fine, paid is fair. Forksy is free with light ads. Plus removes them and adds power features for the price of a coffee.
- Build local, scale wide. If it works in Vilnius, it’ll work in Brooklyn.
Where we’re going
Group rounds (3+ people picking together), a “spin the wheel” picker for indecisive squads, partnerships with delivery services, and richer restaurant insights. We’re a tiny team — feedback shapes the roadmap. Find us at hello@forksy.eu.
